Dr. O’Neal received his doctorate of veterinary medicine from Texas A&M in 1987. He is also an officer with the rank of Major in the U.S. Army Reserve Veterinary Corps. He provides veterinary care to Military Working Dogs and to implement food safety and defense programs for all branches of the military.
He has special interests in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and canine reproduction. In his spare time, he enjoys training his Labrador Retrievers, biking and reading. He is married to Susan, who is also a veterinarian, and they have two children, dogs, cats, rabbits, llamas and a pony.
Dr. Laura Ruffner received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 1992. She has practiced at a mixed animal clinic, a referral equine practice as well as an exclusive small animal hospital. She has practiced exclusively small animal medicine since 1998. She is interested in surgery, ultrasound, and dentistry. She enjoys spending time with her family and caring for her pets (miniature donkeys, horses, dogs, cat, and a reef aquarium).
Dr. Steve Ruffner received his doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University in 1987. He has practiced exclusive small animal medicine and surgery for his entire career. He is interested in preventative healthcare and orthopedic surgery. He enjoys golf, snow skiing, meteorology, RC airplanes, working around the house and spending time with his wife and kids.
